I found this company on yelp abd the reviews were really good. I went to them once before to get my brakes and oil change done. Kathy was the one that helped me throughout my visit. She was great and helpful. I recently when to them for a second time for an emergency visit. My car wouldnt start and the check engine light was on including a couple other lights. I had my car towed there from my house because it wouldnt start. I called ahead of time prior to the tow truck driver bringing in my car. I was told it was ok to have it towed there and they would check it out. They couldn't start my car either and asked for my original key to be brought in. So i had my sister bring the keys in since i was at work. When she got there to give the keys, I believe she was helped by Ann and some other guy. My sister had suggested they should try to take the transponder out of the new key and put it back into the old key so see if that would make the car stary. The guy that worked there said that would be a good idea so he mentioned the idea to Ann. Ann refused to do my what my sister suggested and said no because thats not gonna be a fix to the problem because her original key so beat up anyways. So Ann said all shes gonna do is put the new and old key next to each other and try to start it again with the new key which again did not work. Ann suggested I have my car towed to a dealership and buy a whole new key and have them program the new key. Ann said the could not diagnose my car without being able to start it, but still refused to do my sister suggestion. They still ended up charging me even though all they did was try to out the key in the ignition. Basically was charged for them to do nothing. I told had my sister take both my old and new keys back from them. I put the original key all back together and went to the shop and started my car no problem. If Ann didnt refuse to put the original key back together they would have been able to start my car and diagnose it to see why all these lights were on in my car. Kathy who helped me the first visit is awesome which is why i didn't hesitate to go back there for my emergency situtation. I am hesitant to go back there again because Ann was so resistant to try a customers suggestion which would have helped them to get a diagnosis for my car. I almost wasted more money towing it to a dealership and buying a whole new key. I went back to ace where i bought my new key. The worker there looked at the old and new key and told me the chip was still in the old key. He even verified that if they had put the old key back together it would have solved the problem of getting my car to start. My 1 star rating is for Anns service, but everyone else especially Kathy have awesome service.
